What is Brand

The next module i am going to talk about is 'What is brand'. In this module we had to look at what we thought a brand was, this consisted of creating a research file and then choosing a particular brand and writing an essay on what i thought brand was, and about the chosen brand. We would also have to do a 5 minute presentation. This was the thing i feared most, I have no problem talking in front of people but when it has to rehearsed and you have to remember what to talk about i become slightly nervous and get worried i will forget everything. I really enjoyed this module because i got the chance to research Chanel and look at the way Coco Chanel came up with her brand, i found this really interesting. I did not particularly enjoy writing the essay because that is not one of my strong points. It turned out ok though and i managed to get a satisfactory mark. I actually ended up enjoying giving my presentation and talking for 5 minutes because talking is something i am very good at! Overall i thought this module was very good because it helped me understand brand more, this will help me in future projects because the style of an advertisement is generally based on the brands personalities and characteristics.
