An Interesting conversation

Recently I drove to London to spend some time with my dad who lives there during the week for work, my mum and I went to meet my dad from work and go to one of his colleagues leaving party. This is the first time i met my dads friend Emma, she was a quite elegant looking women that looked as though she had been very independent throughout her life. I will never forget the first words she said to me, ' where on earth are you from, your accent is so messed up' all i could think is that I liked her already. After a lot of talking about different things I found out that she used to work in advertising for many years at TWA. She worked there in the 80's and 90's and was determined that advertising was much better in those days when it was al print ads and none of this 'digital work'. So I have decided to take it upon myself to look at some advertisements from then and now and compare them to see whether I agree with her or not.
